My Approach
A gentle, grounded way of getting to know yourself from the inside out
Understanding Yourself From the Inside Out
Getting to know ourselves on a deeper level changes the way we move through life.
When we understand what’s happening inside, we begin to notice our internal signals—those moments when something feels off, overwhelming, or shut down.

This awareness helps us pause, turn inward, and ask:
“What’s happening inside me right now?”
“What do I need to feel more supported?”

We call this a U-turn—a compassionate shift of attention toward your inner world. With practice, this internal awareness brings more clarity, stability, and ease into your daily life.
Why You Feel Stuck (And Why It Makes Sense)
Many people come to therapy feeling confused or frustrated by the ways they respond to stress or emotional pain.
You’re not alone.

You may notice yourself:
-
Trying to control your environment to manage anxiety
-
Distracting yourself when sadness feels too heavy
-
Getting critical or reactive when anger shows up
-
Shutting down, withdrawing, or numbing when it all feels like too much
These patterns aren’t flaws.
They’re protective parts doing their best to keep you safe.

When we respond in ways that don’t feel great, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with you—it means there’s a part of you asking for attention.
How IFS Helps Us Make Sense of Your Inner World
This is where Internal Family Systems (IFS) comes in.

IFS is a gentle, non-pathologizing therapy model that helps you:
-
Understand the different parts of yourself
-
See how they’ve been trying to protect you
-
Learn what they need in order to soften and trust you
-
Connect with your core Self—your steady, compassionate inner leader
In our work together, we slow down enough to really listen to your parts. You won’t be pushed. You won’t be judged. Instead, we create the space for your system to reveal what it’s been holding and what it needs to heal.

You don’t have to change your parts—just get to know them. Healing naturally follows.
Building a Supportive Inner Relationship
As you deepen your relationship with your inner world, something shifts.

You begin to:
-
Respond to yourself with more compassion
-
Understand your reactions instead of feeling frustrated by them
-
Make choices from clarity instead of urgency
-
Feel more connected to your own needs and boundaries
This inner relationship becomes a source of steadiness you can return to—no matter what’s happening around you.
Creating Healthier, More Balanced Relationships
This work isn’t about doing everything alone.
It’s about being connected from a grounded, supported place.
As you learn to meet your own needs internally:
-
You rely less on external approval or reassurance
-
You ask for support without feeling like “too much”
-
You give without overextending
-
Your relationships become more reciprocal, honest, and safe
Healing from the inside out makes room for deeper, healthier connections with others.
What It's Like to Work With Me
My role is to be a steady, compassionate presence while you get to know your inner world.
Together we create a space where:
-
Every part of you is welcome
-
Nothing is rushed or forced
-
You can follow your natural pace
-
You feel supported, understood, and not alone
I bring my own lived experience with IFS and years of training, but each session is shaped around you—your needs, your parts, your way of unfolding.
If You're Ready
If you’re feeling the pull toward this kind of work, you don’t have to know exactly where to begin.
You just need a willingness to get curious.
I’m here to guide you, step by step, as you learn to listen inward and build a relationship with your parts that feels supportive, healing, and whole.
