Adult Individual Therapy
Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you’re navigating big emotions, feeling stuck in old patterns, or longing for a clearer sense of who you are. Individual IFS therapy offers a gentle, supportive space to explore what’s happening inside and to understand yourself on a deeper level.
In our work together, we’ll get to know the many parts of you — the protectors who work hard to keep you safe, the vulnerable parts that carry old hurts, and the parts that can be critical or reactive when life feels too much. As these parts feel seen and understood, they begin to soften, creating more space for your core Self to lead with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
This kind of inner work can help you:
-
make decisions from a calmer, more grounded place
-
understand your reactions instead of feeling frustrated by them
-
show up in your relationships with more ease
-
reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard
-
create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are
Together, we’ll move at your pace — honoring your inner world, supporting your healing, and creating room for the deeper change you’re seeking.
Fee: $150 / 55 minutes
The following insurances are accepted for adult individual therapy: Premera, Lifewise, Regence, First Choice Health, and some Kaiser plans (as out of network). All other insurances are out of network and reimbursement may be available depending on the insurance plan. I have opted out of Medicare which means Medicare beneficiaries will need to pay the full fee for a session with no reimbursement from Medicare.
Couples Therapy
Relationships are made up of two people — and the many parts each person carries. In couples therapy, we use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to gently explore how your inner worlds interact with one another, and how those interactions shape the dynamic between you.
Every partner brings their own history, emotions, and protective patterns. When these parts feel threatened or overwhelmed, they can create distance, misunderstandings, or reactive cycles that are hard to shift on your own. None of this means the relationship is broken — it simply means there are parts needing attention and support.
IFS couples therapy offers a compassionate way to understand each other more deeply. Together, we slow down enough to notice what’s happening beneath the surface — the fears, longings, and protective strategies that shape your communication. As each partner learns to listen inwardly, you’ll also begin listening to each other with more empathy and clarity.
In our work together, you and your partner will learn to:
-
recognize the parts that get activated in moments of conflict
-
understand each other’s inner worlds with curiosity instead of defensiveness
-
communicate from a calmer, more grounded place
-
repair ruptures with compassion
-
reconnect with the qualities of your core Selves — the love, openness, and courage that drew you together
When both partners can show up from a more grounded place, the entire relationship shifts. You create room for honest connection, supportive communication, and a shared sense of trust and safety.
If you’re looking for a new way to understand each other, work through challenges, and grow together, IFS couples therapy offers a meaningful and effective path forward.
